Naturally-Nifty Party #25

We are so excited to be here today and get to show off some of your awesome work!
I fell like that each week this party is a time for me to spend time with yall lol I know that sounds silly, but I get to visit all of your blogs and check out what you are up to and highlight some of my favorite posts!

And next week we have a special surprise....we will be starting to have some Party Co-Hosts that will come share about them and their favorite linked post! I can't wait!

Anyways, here are the features! Thanks to everyone for linking up! Be sure to grab a button!

Kaitlin from over at the blog Wunderbar made this adorable neck tie blouse.  How cute is that.  i love the way the neck tie makes the shirt look so nice and professional, and yet you could also wear it so casual.  She did an awesome job, and she shares each detail on how to make your own at her blog.  Go check out this and many other similar and equally as cute projects she has!
I love this DIY Starfish Manicure a lot! Our friend over at Hair Spray and High Heels hit it right on the spot. The colors are perfect and she did such a great job. I would have never known that she did not go to the salon and get that mainure! I love this too because I know that my little tot would love it because he loves fish so much! :)

Just Us Four has done it again... but this time I am drooling wanting to make this awesome pizza. Now that I think about it- I just might... for breakfast. How awesome: Nutella and Banana Pizza. It is very creative, healthy, and I am sure yummy. I am always looking for quick, easy, yummy recipes for my daycare kids! I bet this is one of our new favorite.

So go ahead, have some fun and link up this week's goodies!

HELLLOOOOOO Friends!

Big Sis here! So many new things are going on with me right now and it is TOO exciting not to share with our favorite blogger friends! First I want to share with you guys that we have an addition to our blog! We have created another blog that the sole purpose is for FITNESS! It is going to be awesome. I am unsure if I have told you guys that I am signed up for two half marathons coming up in the next six months. I know that I have shared posts about some of our runs... :) But I am so excited.

I have gotten a whole new look on life in the past few months and I am loving it. I have become a Sweat Pink Ambassador with Fit Approach(notice our new button to the right) and I am SO excited about this. What does that mean? Pretty much it means that I get to strut my stuff in some AWESOME pink gear. I can't wait for mine to come in the mail... All the way to my shoelaces.. HELLO? Who wouldn't want that! Sweat Pinks Mission Statement is:

We believe that kicking ass or butt since we don't cuss here is best done in pretty shoes. We’ve learned that real women sweat, and sweat hard. We know that assertiveness, strength, and ambition are the ultimate feminine qualities. We concede that sometimes it takes hours to get ready, but we’re also no strangers to just rolling out of bed and going. We’re convinced that we run faster in pink shoelaces. We believe in pushing ourselves, and we believe in giving ourselves a break, too. We’re all about the rush of endorphins and the thrill of the challenge. We’re all for looking great and feeling even better. We’re committed to finding our best fit, and making it stick.
How do we get there?
We climb.
We journey.
We balance.
We reward. "

they go on to say:

"sweat hard, play hard, and inspire those around them to achieve their best selves"

Um.. yes, right up my alley! I am learning all of the ins and outs now.. but I am so excited. I have started a Facebook page to help promote the new blog.. well because quite frankly, we all know that people are on FB more than the blog! My first goal is to get that set up, get my pink swag, and then seeking out people in my local area that have a fear of running and yet a strong desire. I want to work with those that have struggled like I have. I want others to feel confident and happy the way that I have!! Sweat Pink has already opened doors for me and I can't wait to see where this takes me.

I am so excited to strut my pink stuff at my next few races... I can't wait. I can't wait to meet, in person, fellow SPAs (Sweat Pink Ambassadors) and build relationships with them. It is so awesome to have a group of like minded people that are striving for the same thing in their lives, families, among their peers, and community. It is going to be GREAT!

Do you see now why we have created a separate blog for this? There is going to be A LOT of awesome fitness stuff written a lot during the week and we didn't want to take away from our randomness and awesomeness of Natural-Nesters. We love that we can share about anything and everything and that our readers enjoy it. We would love to have you join us over at our 2nd blog and follow us as we begin to motivate and encourage you to get moving. The other awesome thing about this new door of our fitness blog opening is the different types of Giveaways we will be having. You for sure want to make sure you like or follow all of your avenues to us... because we have some great things on the way to us to send out for Giveaways! AND who doesn't like FREE STUFF! Seriously, we are so stoked about the next few giveaways that we are going to have.. and they just keep coming in.

So... with all this said.. We hope you will go ahead and follow us HERE and like us HERE and join in on the fun!!

Thank you so much for your support with Natural-NesterS.. We love all of our readers!!

Then there is the fun and outgoing Taylor Norris from Goings on in Texas.   Taylor is great, and such an intriguing person.  She is one of those people that is just so much fun to follow and get to know more.  Taylor is so skillful, as you will see in the description about her below, and I am so jealous that she is a personal trainer...I would love to do that!

Goings on in Texas
Hello! I'm Taylor and I blog over at Goings on in Texas. I am a 30-something, Texas transplant who was born and raised in Arkansas. I moved to this great state in 1999 to attend college and I never looked back. I do miss the beautiful scenery of my home state, but I've grown roots in Texas and it looks like Texas will continue to be my "new" home. I'm married to fabulous guy (2006). We do not have any children, unless you want to consider our used car lot a child. :) I am a Petroleum Landman, Certified Personal Trainer, Used Car Lot Owner, Landlord, Christ follower, Entrepreneur, Crafter, DIYer, Cook, Organizer, Gardener, Traveler, Singer, Book-a-holic, Shoe Lover, Talker, Wife and probably a whole lot more, but that paints you a picture, I'm sure. ;) So, what can you find within my blog?? Bits and pieces of my life. Total randomness about my hobbies, thoughts and everything in between. The sky is the limit with me. Each Thursday I host a link party for all your DIY/Recipes/Craft Projects (come link up!) I hope you'll follow me on my blogging journey! :)

Highlighting July Sponsors

Today I am HIGHLIGHTING some of the amazing ladies that sponsor Natural-Nesters! They are each wonderful in their own special way and I hope that as I share a short snid-bit about each one of them that you will see how special they are!

Be sure to stop by their blogs and give them some comment love! Because WE LOVE THEM over here at Natural-Nesters

First off is JUlie Fiorito from A Beautiful Day. Julie is a beautiful woman, a single mom, and such a sweet blogger. . I feel like I have met Julie in person, but only because even through internet interactions her sweet spirit can be seen!

I am a 40 something, single mom to a wonderful 11 year old boy.  He is my world!  I thoroughly enjoy scrapbooking and paper crafts. There is nothing quite like the feeling of getting someone's photos and turning them into a treasured keepsake.  I also love creating party favors and have recently discovered that I can throw a mean party.  I am fairly new to blogging, but am really enjoying it.  I hope that in the near future I can get myself on a regular schedule with it.....because let's face it, sometimes it gets down right sporadic.
FOLLOW:

Next is Kristen from The Mrs. & the Momma.  Kristen is such an inspiration and such a cute little lady! She has some awesome and fun outfit posts! She such an inspiring fashionista...yes AND A MOM! It's amazing, and I only hope I can be as stylish and fun, and all around happy like she is one day when I become a mom!

My wish is to help other mommas and women find or rediscover their personal style.  Dressing fashionably is individualistic.  I am a firm believer that if one feels great in what they are wearing, confidence rarely falters.
FOLLOW:

And our other sweet Texas sponsor is Amanda Faith from Princess of the Panhandle.  It has been such an amazing thing to get to know Amanda, and read about her journey! She is a warrior, a new mom, whose baby was born early, and now she is finishing school where she has to be hours away from her husband to get done.  But she is almost there...she will finally be reunited with her sweet man in September!

Mr. H and I have been together for almost 2 years and this is our sweet daughter Teale. We live on a cattle ranch in west Texas.  Mr. H is a cowboy, yes that is a real job.
I love my family, Starbucks, reading, the lake house, everything about summertime in Texas, making jewelry, learning to cook, shopping, couponing, reality tv, traveling, rodeos, my iPhone, raising money for charities, fishing, our horses, working out, and blogging about it all along the way.

Naturally-Nifty Party #24

FEATURES OF THE WEEK!

I am amazed at this horizontal striped wall done by Mrs. Hahn Daydreams.  For real it cannot be easy to paint horizontal stripes, and keep them straight, but this looks amazing and so sharp with the black furniture! This is one of those projects that when you finish you just sit back and sigh with satisfaction on how happy you are! I would love to have gray stripes on my walls one day! Check out all the details of her wonderful painting job and tell her how much you love it!

Hairspray and Highheels shared a great tutorial on this cute nail style! I am loving all the fun pinterest nail ideas lately, it is such a fun and new trend/fad! I'm loving it! I just wish I was better at it and could do great stuff like this! You should definitely go check out the tutorial and try it out, I will for sure try, just don't know how well it will turn out :-)

I love this cute little beach inspired corner that Sarah from Alderberry Hill shared with us! I really love beach themed stuff, but my house is no where near beachy, but why not just create a cozy little beach inspired decor corner! Such a great idea, and I love the ore that she used to decorate and the color scheme she went with.  By the way Sarah, although I think the canvas just sitting there is nice, I think having it hung really lengthens the wall in a fun way :-) Just my opinion!

BE SURE TO GRAB A FEATURED BUTTON!

Follow our Pinterest Boards---we pin all of our features, and others that are our Favs of the week!

Cookies? Please Mommy??

What could be better than your child wanting cookies at the store...and you telling him that you will make some together when you get home? YOUR TWO YEAR OLD being in agreement with that and NOT throwing a fit in Wal-Mart for the 4th of July cookies all over the place. It was a little piece of heaven right here on earth.

The other amazing thing is as soon as we walked in the door he was asking me to make cookies with him. Why yes, son, we will. We talked about ingredients and directions while he repeated every single word after me like he knew EXACTLY what we were talking about... and then he worked hard.. Very hard to make his cookies.
It took him a very long time, but he eventually filled the cup of sugar using a tablespoon scooper. After he finished with the first cup he did not want to do the second cup.. yes, it took him that long! :) So, I did it for him.

Notice his tongue. He is so precise, just like his Daddy-O.

His favorite part was turning the mixer on and off. He loved it. I let him play with that for a long time.. I mean, what was he going to hurt? He loves cooking and I love having him cook with me!

Using our scooper to scoop out his cookies! He did such a great job.

I am so blessed to be his Mommy.

My boy loves to do anything hands on with us. I would say he is spoiled... but in a semi-good way. We waited so long to have him that our attention now is focused on him. I have been working very hard lately to be more of a hands free mama... Meaning getting rid of unimportant things when he is awake... getting on the floor and playing with him.

I would LOVE to hear about things you do with your child???

What kinds of things do you do with your toddlers that creates a bond, promotes learning, and is so fun?
